Region 4 includes the best venues in the states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Alaska, Wyoming and the Canadian provinces of British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Alberta, Yukon territory and Northwest territories. The Region 4 chapter leadership is responsible for leading the annual Region 4 conference, and committees. We look forward to serving our chapter and showcasing your world-renowned venues and leaders.

IAVM Region 4

1. Works closely with the IAVM HQ office while retaining the autonomy of the Region as provided in the IAVM Bylaws and Governance Policies.

2. Establishes policies and procedures consistent with those of the International Association of Venue Managers.

3. Serves as a conduit for communication between the IAVM HQ office and the Region, communicating the needs and concerns of members to the Board of Directors and carrying the message of the Board of Directors to the Region members.

4. Facilitates the growth of Chapter participation through coordinated outreach and educational and networking opportunities at the Chapter and Region level.

5. Facilitates the growth of the industry through the education of members and the development and distribution of “best practice” knowledge.
